The Old North State Baseball League Partners with NC based Ticketing Company

For Immediate Release: Ramseur, NC: March 1, 2023:  The Old North State League, a collegiate level Wooden Bat League in North Carolina, announces a new partnership with Etix, a web based ticketing service based in Morrisville, North Carolina. The partnership provides an expanded ticketing platform for the ONSL as well as support for their High School Internship Program that began 2022.


The ONSL consists of fifteen teams located throughout the state of North Carolina with multiple ownership groups represented with each venue having varied seating configurations and capacities. Fans will be able to purchase Individual Game Tickets, Team Season Passes or league-Wide Season Passes through the new system as well as Group Tickets and Flex Passes. Alec Allred, President and CEO of the ONSL stated, “The partnership with Etix will expand the ability of each of the Old North State League venues to better serve the fans with expedited transactions and it will improve the league’s ability to track growth and to better communicate with ticket holders. We are also happy to welcome Etix and their participation in our Internship Program which will further our commitment to serve the youth of our state.”

In addition to becoming a sponsorship partner with the fastest growing collegiate league in the country, Etix has committed to sponsoring ONSL High School Internship Program. The Internship Program began in 2022 at the Sandhills Bogeys field located at Sandhills Community College in Southern Pines. The students were on loan from Pinecrest High School and The O’Neal School both located in Southern Pines. The program offered a hands-on approach to all of the jobs within the Sports Management field including ticketing, customer service, promotions, media, ballpark maintenance, sales, and community relations. 


The High School Internship Program was the brainchild of ONSL Director of Community Relations, Julie Borshak who stated, “The partnership with Etix will allow the High School students to gain practical experience with the Etix advanced ticketing platform. The students will have one more marketable skill to put on their resumes at the end of the 2023 season as we introduce another generation to the exciting careers in Sport Management." Etix has committed to providing training to all student interns and job shadowing opportunities to those who are interested as the program expands to all fifteen teams in the league.
