RAMSEUR, NORTH CAROLINA -- The Tarboro River Bandits will begin playing in the Old North State League (ONSL) for the 2024 season and beyond. The River Bandits come to the ONSL as an established franchise with a history of putting a winning team on the field.

Owner, Wayne Turnage, spoke highly of the River Bandits’ large fan base and gave credit to his host families for continuing to support players that come into town each year.

When asked about the new addition, Eric Sibrizzi, the Commissioner of the ONSL, expressed his enthusiasm by saying, “The Old North State League is excited to announce the addition of the Tarboro River Bandits!  From afar, we have watched how they have been able to grow their franchise, attract great players, and develop a sense of community within their ballpark. More news will be coming out in the next few days, and we can’t wait to see the positive impact this will have on the ONSL.”

The Tarboro River Bandits play their home games at the Municipal Stadium, located at 1300 Panola Street in Tarboro, North Carolina. If you are interested in becoming a host family, please reach out here.
