In the partnership with Hope Mills, Ballred, LLC. has agreed to contribute $100,000 towards renovations to the Hope Mills Recreation Center Park.

A Name The Team Contest allowed citizens of Hope Mills to submit names they thought fit the team best. The top 5 names submitted were the Rockfish, Millers, Lake Monsters, Harvesters, and High Landers- all with their own historical or geographical backgrounds related to Hope Mills.
